Detection Technology
Most WordPress detectors rely on a single indicator. Ours uses eight independent signals with weighted scoring to eliminate false positives while catching even heavily customized installations.
Strong signals — Meta generator tag, wp-content/wp-includes paths, REST API link, wp-json reference, admin bar
Medium signals — Login page link, WordPress script references
Weak signals — WordPress CSS class patterns (wp-block-*, wp-image-*)

The extension requires only two permissions: activeTab to read the current page DOM and storage to remember your dismissed sites. That's it. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
