About
WordPress powers 43% of the web, but managing it at scale still relies on fragmented tools, unchecked backups, and manual processes. We're changing that.
Our Mission
WordPress is critical infrastructure for millions of businesses. From local shops to enterprise publishers, entire organizations depend on their WordPress sites being online, secure, and recoverable. Yet the tools available to manage these sites haven't kept pace with that responsibility.
Most teams discover their backups don't work only when they need them most. Monitoring tools ping URLs but don't verify whether a site is actually functional. Security scanning typically happens after a breach, not before. And when something goes wrong at 3am, the response is almost always a human scrambling through a dashboard.
We built BlockForge to change that. We treat WordPress sites like production infrastructure: every backup is verified by spinning it up in an isolated container. Monitoring checks real page responses, not just HTTP codes. Security scanning runs continuously, not reactively. And incident response is automated from detection through recovery.
Our mission is to bring infrastructure-grade reliability practices to every WordPress team — whether you manage 10 sites or 1,000.

Our Story
BlockForge was born from a failure. We were managing over 100 WordPress sites for agency clients — updating plugins, running backups, handling the occasional emergency. The usual workflow. Everything looked fine from the dashboard.
Then a client's e-commerce site went down hard. Database corruption after a botched plugin update. No problem — we had backups. Three of them, in fact. All marked as "successful" by the backup tool we relied on. Except none of them worked. The files were there, but the database dumps were incomplete. The site was down for 18 hours, and we had to rebuild parts of it manually from cached pages.
That was the moment we realized: existing tools only create backups — nobody verifies them. A backup file sitting in cloud storage is just a file. You don't know if it's a working site until you actually restore it. So we started building a system that does exactly that: spins up every backup in a Docker container, loads the database, checks for errors, and only then marks it as verified.
That verification engine became the foundation of BlockForge. From there, we expanded into real uptime monitoring that checks actual site functionality, automated security scanning, incident response automation, and all the operational tools agencies need to manage WordPress at scale.
Today, BlockForge is the platform we wished existed when we were running that agency. Every feature comes from real pain. Every automation replaces a manual process we used to lose sleep over.
What We Stand For
Verified, Not Assumed
Every backup is tested. Every check is real. We don't report success until we've proven it. A green checkmark in BlockForge means we actually verified the result, not just that a process completed without errors.
Automation Over Heroics
Incidents at 3am shouldn't require a human. Automated detection, automated recovery, automated escalation. We build systems so you can sleep through problems that used to wake you up.
Transparency
Open status page, public changelog, honest communication. If something breaks, you'll know before your clients do. We don't hide behind vague status updates or delayed incident reports.
Built for Professionals
No beginner tutorials, no hand-holding UIs. Clean tools for people who manage WordPress at scale. We assume you know what you're doing and give you the controls to do it efficiently.
